Our model, generic in design, represents a typical structure with horizontal wooden boards, and can be built with or without the canopy. In a departure for PECO, the kit is \"mixed media\", that is, a combination of plastic parts, and laser-cut components from MDF and mount board. Assembly is very straight forward as the clear exploded diagrams on the instructions guide the modeller through each stage. The laser cut detail of the canopy brackets are particularly eye-catching. Once painted, the model will undoubtedly fit nicely on many layouts. It doesn't't even have to be a station. Suitably modified it could easily represent a pavilion, shed, or workshop.
