Baseboards

Our baseboards were first developed by Steve for his 'Kensal Green' layout. Recently perfected they are quickly growing ever more popular with model railway enthusiasts around the country and even worldwide. We currently produce 27 sizes in each of the two ranges, the 'Advanced' and the 'Premium' and if that is not enough we also offer the service of making bespoke sizes, a service available to order via the website.

The depth of the framework is 100mm (4") to keep weight to a minimum, whilst still being capable of housing deeper point motors such as Cobalt or Tortoise. They are easily constructed from kit form and are supplied with simple instructions, glue and all other fixings required to make assembly as painless as possible. The system was designed from the beginning to be extremely strong and lightweight giving your new project the very best possible start.

Although stock shows as 'in stock' please be aware we currently have an approximate 4/5 week lead time at present.

We are unfortunately unable to produce any bespoke items at present, only size adjustments to standard units.
