The Brighton Belle is one of the most famous, if not the most famous of the ‘Belle’ trains to operate on British tracks. Recently under the patronage of the Transport Trust a group was formed to restore a 5BEL and bring one of the sets back into service under private ownership.
The stunningly elegant Hornby model with its abundance of detail and lit table lamps is presented this year as the’Belle’ appeared in the 1960s and certainly captures perfectly the opulence and style of the Brighton Belle Pullman.
