Installed with a steam generator, this locomotive produces great clouds of steam which billows through the locomotive’s chimney.

The exceptional ‘Flying Scotsman’ underwent renumbering several times, starting life as LNER No. 103 then after being rebuilt, to A3 Class specification in 1947 to No. 60103 by BR after the nationalisation of the railways in Britain. After being converted to left hand drive and painted BR Green – also known as Brunswick Green – the ‘Flying Scotsman’ has been crafted to include the new Hornby Steam Generator, as well as a flickering firebox for added realism.
